Markdown is a simple but powerful text format that can do basic formatting, bold italic, bullet points, and even hyperlinks. Then I click in the cell and write some documentation. For that, I can use the drop-down menu cell, to change this cell type to Mark down. Cells can also contain text rather than code. There's no output because we define the function, but we can try it out in a new Cell. (keyboard clicks) Again, I execute with Shift+Enter. Now I can write a function over multiple lines and the editor will highlight the Python source appropriately. When a cell is a Blue Border, I need to press Return to edit it. I can click inside a cell modify it and execute it again. (keyboard clicks) Then execute the code by pressing Shift+Return together. Which I do at the top right of this screen. And when browser opens, and I can choose if I wish to work with an existing notebook from the fire system or to start a new one. But in fact, I prefer to type, Jupyter Notebook in a terminal. You can start Jupyter Notebook from the Anaconda Navigate. This is my favorite way of using Python because it lets me experiment with data and code document my work and go back to it later. You can even write text and equations with beautiful formatting. Jupyter Notebooks, offer a very convenient way to write code, run it and collect the results, including plots in a single document.
